The construction is organized through a Special Plan that regulates the use of camping in non-developable land, guaranteeing the safeguarding of the ecological, landscape, and heritage values of the Bot area.
The implementation of the camping site follows the basic local cultivation rule: dividing sloped land into terraces or embankments. The resulting layout offers several important advantages for a camping site:
-It allows each plot to have views of the surrounding landscape.
-It ensures privacy between plots.
-It reduces the amount of land movement necessary for the installation of roads and plots.
-It controls the presence of caravans in the area thanks to the vegetation on the embankments.
The three small community service buildings correspond to the reception, the restaurant, and the showers of the campsite. All three are elevated above the ground, allowing water to pass through and adapting to the irregularities of the surface on which they rest. An identical construction system is used in all three cases, with traditional construction highly adapted to local resources.
