Castelldefel’s sea front improvement Urban Study

This document analyses the current state of Casdelldefel's sea front neighborhoods found between the Castelldefel's highway and its sea shores. The main objective of this analysis is to identify those elements that make up the urban and natural landscape's identity and to identify those activities that have been heavily promoted by the increase of tourist activity in these neighborhoods.

Then, using the analysis as its main framework, the document suggests some general guidelines and specific modifications aimed at merging the traditional residential aspect of the neighborhoods with and the inevitable growth of touristic activities in a sustainable and balanced manner that respects the urban and natural landscape.
