Dog area in Travessera de Gràcia

The project aims to develop a recreational area for dogs on Travessera de Gràcia. This space has been designed with the safety, functionality, and comfort of both the animals and their owners in mind, creating a green area within the urban core that promotes community coexistence and well-being. The area will feature amenities such as a dog drinking fountain, trash cans, benches, and trees to provide shade.

The gravel pavement allows for water infiltration and ensures the cleanliness of the space, while a strip of concrete pavement will serve as a sitting area for the owners. To prevent the accumulation of excrement along the median strips, the plan includes planting shrubs and climbing plants with metal structures. The irrigation system will include sprinklers for washing the area and irrigation for the trees, shrubs, and climbing plants.
